5 Ways To Tell If You’re a Queen Archetype

queen archetype

We know Queens are busy people, so we’ll get straight to it: here are a few telltale signs you’re definitely a Queen archetype:

  • You currently own (or have previously owned) a tiara.
  • You not-so-secretly believe you’re in charge of everything.
  • You wouldn’t hate it at all if everyone called you Your Majesty.
  • You’re driven, you like to be respected and you adore power.

But, you’re also a realist, which means you know that you can’t be a Queen and do everything yourself. You like the idea of recruiting others to help you bring your vision to life, almost as much as you like being in control.

But… how do you even know you’re a Queen Archetype?

First things first – there’s a Brand Archetype quiz that will tell you exactly what your vibe is and how to work that into your business.

And yes, a lot of this will come quite naturally to you but the purpose of this quiz is to hone in on your unique archetype so you have a sense of clarity in everything you do, from your ideal customer to your language and branding.

There are 12 different Brand Archetypes: Queen, Healer, Rebel, Alchemist, Innocent, Explorer, Everyman, Hero, Jester, Lover, Sage, and Creator – but today, it’s all about Number One.

  1. Like that guy with laser eyes in the X-men movies, you have a super sharp and focussed gaze

You can see the final destination and you would do ANYTHING to get there. You’re a gun at dealing with changing circumstances (one of your best traits!) and you’re great in a crisis.

Leading is your most valuable superpower but you already know this – you use it to your advantage every day. When you watched The Devil Wears Prada, you actually sympathised with Miranda. She’s just a driven, confident, intelligent woman who needs to get shit done. Why is everyone ragging on her? She’s awesome.

  1. You LOVE systems and structure

Much like the monarchy, you honestly believe the world would fall apart without structure. You love clear lines, boundaries, lists, and plans. Kikki K is your happy place and planners are your chocolate. The thing is, there is such a thing as overplanning or staying in the planning phase too long. Queens love presenting and talking about ideas, which is great, as long as you don’t forget to actually implement them. A super cute whiteboard and set of colourful erasable markers aren’t enough to make that happen. Soz.

  1. You’ve got to earn that respect, girlfriend

Most Queens know this, but there are always a few bad apples that make the rest of the Queen archetypes look bad: you can’t expect respect before you’ve actually earned it.

Queens are intelligent but they also have a strong sense of justice. They like for the right thing to be done, and a true Queen is ALWAYS magnanimous in victory and defeat.

  1. You are thoroughly unintimidated by being in charge

Most other archetypes would cry if you asked them to lead a room of people but Queens adjust their crowns, flick their cloaks over their shoulders, and get the hell on with it.

Your confidence is extraordinary – never apologise for it or try to dull it. Most people would kill for that self-esteem, so do good with it. It’s a very valuable tool.

  1. You are fiercely loyal

Once a Queen finds her squad, she’s done. If you’ve had the same group of girlfriends since high school, chances are you’re a Queen. Better yet, they all still love you despite having been there when you went through the growing pains of being a Queen (those mega-bitchy months in your first year of uni when you were unbearable to be around). Your mates know that you’ve got their back and that you’d die fighting for them.

Pretty sure you’re a Queen Archetype? Want to know for sure?
